According to ISFOL research, the Institute for the Development of Vocational Training of Workers, just 26% of Italian companies invest in training. On the other hand, 60% of European companies offer training to their employees. Among the negative factors influencing the investments in training is the lack of financial resources, especially during a period of economic crisis. However, there are tools that economically support continuing vocational training in order to avoid additional costs for the companies. For example, companies can use national grants for continuing vocational training to fund company training plans for their employees.
